Monsignor was born February 7, 1928 to Sidney Wilfred Luminais, Sr. and Leontine Vicknair Luminais. He was ordained on June 5th, 1954.  His first Parish Assignment was "Our Lady of Prompt Succor" parish in Westwego Louisiana. After 8 years of service, he was assigned to "Our Lady of Lourdes" as assistant pastor.

His 5 years of service was followed by his present appointment to "Holy Guardian Angels Parish" in Bridge City, Louisiana.

Monsignor was recently honored by the Msgr. Peter M. H. Wynhoven Knights of Columbus for his distinguished and  dedicated membership of 50 years.  Our congratulations go to Monsignor for his continual example of leadership, service and dedication.

Monsignor celebrated his 40th Anniversary of being pastor of "Holy Guardian Angels Church" on July 1st, 2007.
